AKA Funky Mohican Pyjama Donkeys.

I love Zebras. I think they often get over-looked in favour of the Big 5 (Rhino, Elephant, Buffalo, Lion, Leopard).

I love their stripes – making it impossible for us humans to miss them, yet somehow manages to provide fantastic camouflage for their main predators – the lions.  Lions, being colour-blind, apparently see right past them – duped into believing it’s either one HUGE great big zebra – or moving grass.

Conversely – zebras themselves can “spot” the individual stripe patterns to help them recognise their family members.
