Opportunistic Travel Photography and Occasional Geo-Tourism
I love these trees… don’t always get to see them as they do need a slightly warmer climate than where we currently call home.

Got something to say? Go for it!
What a lovely plant! Very nice detail and colour here Lu. (PS: I haven’t forgotten the 7 posts posting – I’ve found it harder than I expected to choose posts to fit the criteria but will decide in the next day or two 🙂 )
Thank you Meanderer. It is a rather bright colour – almost too bright to capture in its truest sense!
Take your time on the 7 links – I’m more than certain it will be worth waiting for 🙂
very nice – how unusual and bright… ditto with Meanderer…:-)
Thank you Sheila – ditto what I said to Meanderer 😉
I recently took a photo of one of these too! Seems we are both attracted to bright colours. 🙂
Hi Lisa – I think it must be because of the seasons. Everything is so brown, bland and colourless around us that these trees are standing out 🙂
It’s actually quite green where we are. The grass here doesn’t die in winter.
Consider yourselves lucky 🙂
Nice colour 🙂
Thank you Hallysann 🙂
The smaller protruding parts on the lower left-hand side remind me of an exotic-colored eye-liner! Fantastic shot!
Wow! That would be quite some eye-liner!! Thanks Phyllis 🙂
