Although native to South Africa, I snapped this Bird of Paradise in the Botanical Gardens of King’s Park in Perth, Western Australia, today.
I had a glorious day wandering around the gardens. It totals some 406 hectares of which I saw only a tiny fraction. – But what a fraction it was!
Spring has most certainly arrived in the Southern Hemisphere 🙂
There are so many wonderful plants on the Australian continent – many of which I have never seen in my life.
I’m hoping that I managed to capture many of them (with their name-tags!) to share with you over the coming weeks.
